This year, the Barclay School (a South Carolina Green Steps school) has been chosen to receive a portion of every ticket sold at Bovinoche in order to renovate the school's kitchen at its new location in Ridgeway.  The new kitchen will meet commercial standards and will allow the school to add some culinary arts lessons, letting students grow and cook their own food.

Join two hundred fellow food lovers on beautiful Magnolia Farm in Ridgeway for a day of local foods cooked over live fires, music from local bands, adult libations, and all for a great cause!

Jeff "Rhino" Bannister, the mastermind behind Bovinoche (and featured on the Food Network, Wall Street Journal and more) will be leading the chef teams, including Bourbon and other local chefs from the Midlands to bring you an unprecedented food event!

  • Beef Steamship Round
  • Pork, including a fresh sausage station
  • Goat
  • Quail
  • Chicken
  • Smoked Coastal Fish
  • Oysters
  • Salad and Vegetables
  • Sweets

Bovinoche is a food and drink event with multiple chef stations featuring dishes crafted from SC meats, poultry, seafood and vegetables, with stations presenting dishes as they're ready. So, dishes will be presented throughout the day, not at any set time. This is a multi-dish grazing event, not a sit-down dinner.

Tickets include access to all the dishes as they are presented, as well as 2 drink tickets. Other beverages will be available for purchase throughout the event. River Rat beers, cocktails from Bourbon and wines will be available, as well as non-alcoholic options. This is a meaty event, but there will be vegetables and salads served also.

This is a family-friendly event, but there is no discount for children under 12 and drink tickets are only for those 21 or older.
